Our mission: To work jointly with JPAC (Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command), DPMO (Defense Prisoner of War/Missing Personnel Office), and the Repatriation Divisions of the US Armed Services to bring final resolution to the Families and Friends of our Missing American Personnel from World War II. We advocate for the Families and Friends to bring these service members home to their Final Resting Place.
About Us: WWRM (World War II Families for the Return of the Missing) is an advocacy group of volunteers that can assist in the confusing and often frustrating process of locating and repatriating the remains of our missing service personnel from World War II. WWRM is a tax-exempt 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. The Federal ID number is: 30-0446980. There is no fee charged; donations are gratefully accepted. To receive the WWRM newsletter, send an email to wwiimissing@gmail.com and put Subscribe as the subject line. Newsletters are typically sent out monthly.
How WWRM can help you:
- We work with the organizations that do the recovery
- We help you identify who is a potential DNA donor
- We do research to help put you in contact with other family members of the missing
- We advocate for more government funding of WWII MIA recovery operations
- We contact members of Congress to maintain a high level of focus for WWII MIAs
- We keep you informed of progress
- We help you figure out what to do next
